Kymi is a beautiful town and port of the prefecture of Euboea, about 87 kilometers from Halkida and has about 3,000 inhabitants. It is built amphitheatrically on a hill overlooking the sea and offers panoramic views of the Aegean. Kymi is a city with history and very interesting sights. It has a strong maritime background and in the 19th century had a growing economy as it was a major trading center.
